All LCBI courses are taught by qualified instructors, who have completed the Educational and Ministry Life Experience requirements of Life Christian Bible Institute (main campus).
Mike McComb, Professor (Director) – is a graduate of Christ For The Nations Institute and Charis Bible College and holds a Doctorate in Theology with Life Christian University. He is a gifted preacher and teacher of the Word with thirty years pastoral experience. Mike’s passion is to advance the Kingdom of God in the earth by laying a strong foundation of God’s Word in believers’ lives. For more than 20 years, Mike has served as Senior Pastor/Chaplain of Church On The Inside – an enthusiastic, life-giving church, which ministers to the 520 inmates housed at Kyle Correctional Center in Kyle, Texas. He is married and lives in Lockhart, Texas.
Stephanie McComb, Associate Professor/Administrator – Stephanie holds a Master of Arts in Theology as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Counseling through Life Christian University. She serves as the Administrator for Life Christian Bible Institute (Lockhart Campus) and oversees the Counseling Program. In addition, Stephanie has been a weekly prison volunteer since 2000 and is a recipient of the Texas Governor’s award for her volunteer service.
Tammy Torres, Instructor/Assistant Administrator – Tammy has a Master’s degree in Theology from Life Christian University. She serves as Assistant Administrator for LCBI (Lockhart Campus). She enjoys impacting the lives of the women at the Lockhart Caldwell County Jail through the teaching and preaching of the Word of God. Tammy resides in Lockhart with her husband, Rene and three beautiful daughters.
Mary Lou Mendez, Instructor – Mary Lou holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology through Life Christian University. She and her husband have three children and live in Lockhart, Texas. In her spare time, Mary Lou enjoys riding horses.
Shane Crumpton, Instructor – Shane Crumpton is an instructor and has his Bachelor of Pastoral Ministry degree through Life Christian University. He resides in Lockhart with his wife, Kimberly. They have four children. When not leading the A/V team or playing bass at church, Shane can usually be found writing and recording music at his home studio and blogging.
